Bio
When I first began to think about injecting testosterone, I worried about my singing voice. I was born to the sort of family that rejoiced there were two adults and two kids of each gender, so that we'd have a soprano, an alto, a tenor, and a bass. I was the soprano.

What would happen as my voice changed, I wondered? Would I be a tenor, since I'm high-voiced now? Or perhaps bass, as my father is?

Until someone pointed out to me that sometimes you can't sing at all afterwards, that the late puberty sometimes leaves you with random remnants of range - a note here, a note there, not an octave all together.

So I got a piano, and then a bunch of syringes, and I spend a lot of time hoping.

There's always the music.
